We had a great 4th of July. In the morning we went to the Provo Parade. Dashiel and Myles both wore their flag shirts and Dash had fun waving to everyone, when he was in the shade. Then we went up into the Mountains to Mirror Lake. My family took the canoe and we ate and relaxed for the afternoon. Dashiel played in the water and learned to skip rocks, or just to throw rocks in the water. In the evening we watched the fireworks outside the Stadium of Fire on University Avenue. Myles was an angel as usual and mostly slept. Dashiel could barely stay awake to see the fireworks and say "boom, boom". It was a busy fun filled day.
I have posted some pictures from the parade below.
Our family began May 31, 2002 when we were married in the Timpanogos Temple. Dashiel was born in October of 2005, during Morgan's last year of law school and Myles in May of 2007, a year after we moved to Spanish Fork. Our third boy Chase was born March of 2009 and Asher was born in May of 2011. It is a little crazy but sometimes the unexpected surprises in life are the best ones.
