Big Things are Happening at the Fife House

Potty training!
One day Dashiel wanted to go poop in the potty and I wasn't about to discourage him. He isn't very consistent about telling me before something happens but I wasn't planning on potty training him for another 6 months so I am not complaining. We bought him his own little potty and so far it hasn't been used but he likes to move it around to different rooms in the house. When he does go to the bathroom he calls his poop "rocks" and his pee "bubbles"(Sorry for those of you who don't have kids). We are very proud of our little man.

Myles sitting up on his own!
Myles sat unassisted for the first time on conference Sunday. He stays up for long periods of time now. I don't know if he realizes that he is sitting alone but he does seem pretty pleased with himself. He is so darling sitting there and then he will wildly flail his arms and promptly topple over.

Eating popcorn
Dashiel is in the midst of the terrible two's. He wants what he wants when he wants it. And that means NOW. We are trying not to give in to his every whim so Dash has become inventive in getting what he wants himself. This was a typical situation of him wanting more popcorn than what I had already given him. Nothing at our house is safe anymore.

Baby Myles
Myles is such a good baby. He is starting to laugh when others are laughing. He loves watching Dash play. Dashiel can't not give Myles a raspberry whenever he sees his tummy. When you look over at Myles he will be intently staring back at you.

Daddy's Shoes
Dashiel loves Morgan so much and loves playing with him. He says "Daddy home" whenever he hears the garage door go up and then he runs to wait for him at the stairs laughing and calling his name. He also gives the best hugs.

Drool Boy
Myles has endless drool. No he didn't spit up, that is all drool. It doesn't help that he constantly has his fingers in his mouth. What a silly baby.

Mommy's Headbands
Dash can make anything fun. He calls my headbands hats and wears them around when Morgan is at work.

Toys, Toys, Toys
Myles loves playing with toys. He grabs at everything and tries to put it in his mouth. It is so funny when he misses and hits himself in the face. Myles also loves to dance with Mommy and fly with Daddy. He loves Dashiel most of the time and is fascinated by his hair.
