Oregon Road Trip

Well it's about time I posted some pictures from our quick trip to Oregon. As usual we didn't take as many pictures as we wanted and I packed the camera bag in the van during the Tolman party. So here is what we have, enjoy.

We left on Thursday night and arrived in Echo at Dale and Jerri's house around 3:30 in the morning. The boys slept well in the van but the rest of us didn't get very much sleep. We spent Friday in Echo, Hermiston and Stanfield visiting family. Jerri went all out cooking for us and Dale spoiled the boys with presents.

Saturday we drove to Portland. We made the mandatory stops at Stonehendge, Burgerville in The Dalles and Multnomah Falls. We visited Papa and Dari when we arrived and then spent a quiet evening at their house.

.

Sunday we stopped by the Portland Temple, the grounds were closed but we got a few pics. Then we visited Dari again at the care center and we headed to church. That afternooon a bunch of family visited. Thanks to Hannah for setting it all up. There was great food and even better conversation. I got to see Morgan's cousins, some of them for the first time, and the boys had fun playing. We left to start our journey back home and spent the night in Echo.

Monday we drove and drove and drove. Okay I personally never sat behind the wheel but Morgan, Jack and Sausha all took turns. The boys were amazing. They slept a lot and kept themselves entertained. I was so pleased at how good they were.

It was a fast but fun trip. It was great to go with Jack and Sausha, not to mention so much easier with all of their help with the boys. Thanks guys.

It looks like you had a lot of fun. Thanks for sending me your blog address. It's so nice to get back in touch and see what you're doing. Your boys are so handsome! Of course they are--look at their beautiful mother!

Oooo! If you ever get a chance for a longer trip my way I'd love to catch up in person. (I currently live quite close to Multnomah Falls.) :)
