Welcome Fall

A lot has been happening at the Fife house lately so here is an update on the boys. There are pictures at the bottom so keep scrolling.

Dashiel started preschool and he is loving it. He comes home so excited to tell me what he is learning. He sings songs and tells me the sounds of letters. Dashiel is also looking forward to his birthday. He completely understands he will be turning 4 and that means presents. Whenever he sees anything he likes he tells me he wants it for his birthday. I have told him he only gets to choose one, we will see how that goes. Dashiel is always saying the funniest things but I really like it when he tells me "I like you Mommy."

Myles has started his speech development play group. We go Monday and Wednesday to play group where we sing, play, work on sounds, do an art activity and eat a snack. Myles loves going to his "preschool." He asks me everyday "momma, preschool me?" The speech therapist comes once a month to work on specific sounds and gives me homework we can work on. Myles has what is called final consonant deletion, it just means that he doesn't finish a word that ends in a consonant. We have been working on the letter "p" and he is starting to correct himself already. The speech therapist said that her first visit with Myles was what she tries to have for a fifth visit. Myles is so teachable, he loves praise and rewards. I am so proud of how well he is doing. He is such a smarty. Myles is still the best buddy you could ask for, he gives the best hugs and is always so chill.

Chase
is now 6 months old. His visit with the Dr. went wonderfully and he handled his three shots beautifully. Here are his latest stats: weight, 17lbs - 38%, length, 28 in - 88%. Tall and skinny is how we make them. Chase has been sitting on his own for a month now and he is rolling over but I'm not sure if it is always on purpose. On Sunday his first tooth broke through, I didn't even know he was teething, he was taking long naps but he really wasn't that grumpy. Chase is still such an angel. I love his smile and laugh. He is very observant and loves watching everything that is going on. My only complaint is that he is a thumb sucker. Even though it is very, very cute I am always pulling his thumb out of his mouth and I make sure he has his binky when he falls asleep.

Morgan is keeping busy with work and I have started painting again. So things here are good, we are healthy, happy and loving life.

Here are the much anticipated pictures.

Chaser. What a sweet baby, just look at those cheeks!

Brothers. This is what they look like in the mornings now that Myles can take his pajamas off himself.
We had a fire and roasted marshmallows at my parents house. The boys really like the new pirate hats Grandma bought for them.
Myles burnt his mallow to a crisp, don't worry we didn't let him eat it.
Myles and Dashiel let me do their hair one Sunday. So handsome.
Dashiel made this little bed for Chase with his own blankets, pillows and dog. He must really love Chase to lend him his favorite things in the whole world.

I think Brody might have the same problem. I called kids on the move and they are going to be setting up an appointment. Are you going through kids on the move? if so how do you like it.
