Chase at 9 months

Our darling Chase turned 9 months on the 19th and I wanted to write down a few things he is doing so I will remember him at this age.

Chase is eating so well. He likes baby food and just about anything else. Chase loves feeding himself but will still let me feed him my homemade applesauce, pear sauce and peaches. Chase is now drinking formula out of a bottle. My milk started drying up so I have been transitioning him over to the bottle. At first it was hard but I added a little strawberry syrup to the formula and now he is doing great.

Chase is a screamer. His mad, sad, happy and laughing screams are all the same. Chase also is babbling and talking much more. He likes to make sounds, the louder the better. He also just learned to click his tongue. Morgan loves that Chase's favorite sound is "da da da."

Chase is not crawling yet but we are seeing some progress. When he is on him tummy he can scoot around in circles and push himself backwards. I make sure he gets lots of practice time but Chase get a little discouraged when I put a toy just out of reach and he works so hard to get it but just scoots himself farther away.

Chase is still such a happy little guy. He is very alert and loves to watch and be a part of what is going on. He likes to play with his brothers. Dashiel has a great time making Chase laugh and Myles is learning how to share with the baby.

Chase has the cutest cheeks that jiggle when he shakes his head no and yes. He also has three teeth. The two on the bottom came in when he was 6 months and one of the top just came through with another five working their way up. He is always drooling.

We love having Chase is our family.
