October

Dashiel is obsessed with Halloween. He put up all the decorations this year and even made some himself when he felt like I hadn't provided enough and I refused to buy more. I was trying to get some ideas for a dinner menu this week and I asked him what his favorite dinner was and he told me "something spooky." One day for lunch he helped me make these Mummies, he was ecstatic.
Chase was so pleased with himself for climbing into Asher's exersaucer but his attitude quickly changed when he realized he was stuck. Chase has been struggling with taking naps. He isn't tired early and when he wants to sleep it is for 3 hours and then he won't go to bed at night. Today after spending over and hour in his room awake he let me rock him to sleep.
Asher is still so awesome. He has been sleeping 10-11 hours straight at night and if full of smiles during the day. Asher found his toes this week and loves grabbing them. He is such a sweet boy. It is so nice to just truly enjoy my baby.
The boys decided to wear ties to church last Sunday. I usually don't have them wear ties because they end up in the church bag after about 3 minutes so I took a picture before church. This picture was taken down stairs while the boys were watching a show. I get them ready first and then send them out of the way while I race around getting myself presentable by 9:00 which doesn't happen any other day of the week.
