Wildlife Bonanza!

This post will simply serve to provide further proof of how un-hip I am, but I wanted to share with everyone the amazing wildlife that I saw this morning on a ride around Utah Lake. I saw the following animals of interest (mostly birds) along the southern and western edges of Utah Lake: Several Snowy White Egrets, a field full of Ibises, two Sandhill Cranes in some high grass near Saratoga Springs, a Long-billed Curlew, a Red-winged Blackbird, several Yellow-headed Blackbirds, a herd of Pronghorn about eight miles north of Elberta, and several American White Pelicans.

I also saw my fair share of roadkill, which included the following: one and a half skunks, a headless jack rabbit, at least three snakes, a cat, and a recently deceased raccoon (my personal favorite).

He said Rocky you met your match,
And Rocky said, doc it's only a scratch,
and I'll be better, I'll be better, doc, as soon as I am able

Now Rocky Raccoon he fell back in his room,
Only to find Gideon's bible.
Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt,
To help with good Rocky's revival.
