Growing Pains

Dashiel will be 3 in a few weeks. He talks and talks and talks back. He is pushing back against everything we try to do and is fiercely independent. Today he wanted his shirt off to take a bath and I helped him too much so he wanted his shirt back on so he could take it off all by himself. Incidents like that one happen all day long but my favorite so far was this morning. I wiped Dashiel's nose and he started crying out of control. I asked him what was wrong and he told me "I want my booger back in my nose!" It is so hard to be 3.
