halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year. During the day we went trick-or-treating on Main street. It is fun to live in a smallerish city when it comes to activities for the kids. Then that night my parents, Lindsey, James, Ashley and Daniel came down to our house for chili, bread sticks and trick-or-treating. It was great to have my family come. Daniel scared Myles to death dressed up as a super scary scarecrow. Once Myles found out it was just Uncle Daniel he punched him. Again this year I dressed the boys up in star wars costumes adding the storm trooper costume for Dashiel. The boys loved their costumes mainly because I got them swords and guns to go with them. I dressed up as Princess Leah, small (tiny) pigtail buns and a white dress and I didn't even get one picture. As an added story just so I don't forget, Dashiel has been on a rhyming kick lately so on Halloween he kept saying "storm trooper, porm trooper" and calling my Mom "grandma, da dam a". I try not to laugh infront of him or to even scold him because anything to him is encouragement.
