toddler bed

A month ago I took the front off of Chasers crib. He loves his "new" bed. I have put my boys in beds they could get out of starting at a really young age, Dashiel at 16 months, Myles at 19 months and Chase at 17 months. For me it has been an easy transition for all of them. I think part of it is that they are good sleepers from me trying to follow Baby Wise but I think the other reason is that when they are so young they don't think to get out of bed until I come get them. Chase still wakes up in the morning or from his nap and waits on his bed for someone to come and open the door for him. I haven't had a lot of trouble putting him down either. We usually read a book and he stays put. I will eventually have to get a twin bed for Chase but I haven't decided what I want yet so for now he will keep sleeping in his toddler bed.
