Morgan and I had been to Monument Valley with the Fife's before and so we suggested we take my family to see it. I think it is so amazing and completely worth the drive. You can see why Ford filmed so many of his westerns there. On Friday we planned to arrive at Monument Valley at sunset for some good picture taking opportunities and it worked out great. We stopped at the Needles over look and Goose Neck on the way which we hadn't done before. The boys were so good in the car and the farther south we got the warmer it got so we didn't freeze quite so much.
